New arrivals - Muchi MuchiPork and 1942

I had a couple of shooter pcbs delivered yesterday. At the back is a true classic of the genre, 1942. It's an original capcom pcb. You don't see them too although bootlegs are common enough. It's a pre jamma pcb but this came with an adapter. I also had the awesome Muchi Muchi Pork arrive. This is (by a factor of 3) the most expensive pcb I've ever bought. It's a lovely looking game though and the gameplay is great. It's going to be a while til I'm any good at it though.

Divestment - Cyberlead

I had an offer of a lovely, lovely PCB and needed to raise funds for it.

To get the pennies I decided to let go of the cyberlead. After having so much play of so many different cabs I've found that I prefer metal bodies cabs with 25" or 26" monitors to anything else. I've decided to let go of one or two of mine over the next few months and replace them with cabs that meet those specifications.

I expect the pcb to arrive this week!

New arrivals - stunning monitors, CPS2, MVS

I had a couple of these dropped off yesterday.

These are almost certainly the best CRT monitors money can buy. The NEC XM29. They have the same toshiba 29" tube as an E2 etc and an autoswitching multisync chassis. Bags of inputs and a fantastic remote with tons and tons of functionality. I fully expect the picture quality to be jaw dropping. I haven't actually got any kettle leads now I've sold all of my naomis. I was pretty gutted when I took this one out of its flightcase and realised wouldn't be able to have a play til I tracked one down. I'll post so more pics when I have them up and going. I bought threee altogether, only two of which are here at the mo. One's for me, one for a friend and a third for resale.

I also had these to collect from the post office today. A beautifully hardcore shooter for my hori cab the NAC) and another MVS cart. That makes 54 / 148 MVS games I now have. I've heard panic bomber isn't great but I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl. Boot case and label but the pcbs are legit.

New arrival- bit of paper

last week I soldered this up for the GnG pcb I got the other day. The pcb is faulty (as the seller described it) but the adapter appears to be working! I'll send the PCB off for repair some time soonish. Next week I'll jo the Jr Pacman adapter.

I got this today. First arcade pick up for a bit. I have something else in the post though ;) Some nice pics in here. I'm not a massive psiyko fan but the price was right and some of the art is pretty cool.

Still around. Still playing a lot

But I haven't bought much recently or had time for anything interesting and worthy of posting. Hopefully soon.

There are a couple of things I'm looking to buy :)

I've been playing masses of ibara recently. I've greatly improved my high score but want a bit more. I'd love to beat my friend's 5.5 million high score. I'm going to give it a bit more effort. If I do it I'll reward myself with a nice nice Yagawa pcb!

Divestment - Naomi

Today I said goodbye to my naomi. It's a lovely cab with the best 29e31s I've ever seen. Fantastic net city arts and 2L 12B panel too. It wasn't getting as much play as it deserved though so I decided to part with it. I have something lined up to use the cash for. Hopefully that'll be here this week. I'll be selling the rest of my naomi carts too soon enough. The cab buyer took the mobo and a couple of carts.

I also picked up another MVS cart recently in exchange for a couple of unwanted console games

That's 53 / 148 MVS games
